He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Helton and Maxine Cox Helton; his son Timothy Glen Helton; and his brothers, Tony, Lee, Steve and Allen Helton.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barybee Smiddy of Palatine, IL, Linda Knopp (David) of Oak Forest, IL and Mary Ayscue of Virginia Beach, VA; and his close friend Doug Burkhart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
