He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Sr. Fields and Sallie Mullins Fields; and his siblings, Grace, Maewood LaMonda, Louise, Willis, Elmer, Wallace and Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Groves; his sons, Barry (Melinda) of Mayslick and Paul (Sharon) of Salyersville; and his sisters, Pauline Parks (Bob) of Columbia and Ruby Gibson of Leburn. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Germantown Baptist Church, Hospice of Hope, or the charity of one's choice.
