She is survived by: her parents, Dave Higgins and Lizzie Mae Clark Higgins; her sons, Wayne Clay (Kathy) and Phillip H. Clay, Sr. (Tava); her grandchildren, Kimberly Ashby (Harry), Kevin Clay, Phillip H. Clay, Jr. (LaRonda), Bryian Clay and Victor Clay (Candace); and her daughter Alphia Clay. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
