He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence Cornelius and Clara Cornelius (Smith). He is survived by: his son Roy Cornelius (JoAnn) of Keavy, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law Laura Cornelius of Corbin, Kentucky; his grandchildren, James Cornelius, Shannon Cornelius and David Cornelius; and his close friend Melvin Jackson. He is also survived by many great- grandchildren.
