It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Ruth Karr of Keavy, Kentucky, born in Jellico, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Rains and Alta Rains; her husband Fred Karr; and her brother Carlos Rains. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Estep (Lester) and Janet Sawyers (Nick); her grandchildren, Leslie Tincher and Fred Estep; her great grandchildren, Reece Tincher, Gavin Tincher, Sierra Knuckles, Cassidy Estep, Hayley Helton, Presley Estep, Dylan Estep, Hailey Anders, Taylor Anders and Waylon Prewitt; and her great great grandchildren, Jaxon Knuckles, Addalynn Knuckles, Jathan Alsip, Macie Helton and Ezekiel Helton.
