It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Gene Black of Keavy, Kentucky, born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Morris Black and Pauline Black; and his grandparents, Winfield, Flora Cassidy, Oakley and Nora Black.
He is survived by: his sister Shelia Tankersley (Jim); his niece Andrea Baker (Travis); his nephew Jared Tankersley (Robi); his great-niece Taylor Stack (Scotty); his great-nephew Tanner Baker (Gracie Tankersley); his uncles, Foyster Cassidy (Vida) of Keavy, Rondal Cassidy (Margaret) of Keavy and Guy Black of London; his aunt Pat Cox of Kokomo; and his caregivers, Anita Kelley and William Bingham. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
