He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Baker (Lewis); his children, Bill Baker and Eula Mae Gibson; his parents, Rueben Baker and Ollie Baker; and his siblings, Henry Baker and Forester Baker, Sr..

He is survived by: his children, Owen Baker of Keavy, Wilma Jackson of Keavy, Odis Baker of London, Kentucky, Ova Baker of London, Kentucky, Arvil Baker of London, Kentucky and Arlie Baker of London, Kentucky; and his siblings, Polly Jane Sizemore of Keavy, Orie Baker of Keavy, Rufus Baker of Keavy, Felix Baker of Keavy, Farmer Baker of Indiana, Henderson Baker of London, Kentucky. and Burchel Baker of London, Kentucky.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
