It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melisa Cooley Hicks of Junction City, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cooley and Marie Pike Hammons; and her brothers, Bobby Young and Billy Young. She is survived by: her husband Chris Hicks of Manchester; her children, James Cooley (Stella) of Stanford and Christina Patrice Cooley of Princeton; her siblings, Randy Young of Lebanon, Tena Young of Lebanon, Wesley Young of Mobile, AL and James Young of McKinney; and her grandchildren, Sarah Pullum and Maddelyn Cooley.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:30 PM.
