He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Logan and Emma Childress Shepherd. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Lynn Shepherd, II (Tausha) and Andrew Logan Shepherd; his grandchildren, Emrey Kate Shepherd and Dalton Jaxon Stone; and his brothers, Jack Logan Shepherd (Mary) of Danville and Donald Lee Shepherd of Junction City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
