He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley and Monnie Fancy Murphy King; his wife Linda Sue Coffman King; his siblings, Theodore, Loyall of Noble, J. C., Daryl King, Gertrude Peyton, Decie King and Mary Ann Mesmer; his son-in-law Allen Doud; and his great grandchild Tyler Holbrook.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Dalton (Michael) of Liberty, Barbara Doud of Junction City, Johnny King (Missy) of Junction City, Troy King (Sherry) of Junction City and Brian King (Robin) of Junction City; his siblings, Bearl King (Wanda) of Liberty, Thomas King (Shirley) of Lancaster and Aline Coontz of Junction City; and his grandchildren, Rachel Smith (Tony), John King (Lena), Eric Howard, Cody Robinson (Stephanie), Kelsey Tatum (George), Beau Coffman (Sydney), Sami Taylor (Colton), Jordan Dalton (Angel), Christina Pemberton (Tyler), Laura Holbrook (Larry) and Dena Doud.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
