She was predeceased by: her parents, H. B. Riley and Pauline Mullins Riley; her husband Lecky Wood Powell, Sr.; her siblings, Clarence Riley, Hazel Stewart and Virginia Murphy; and her son-in-law Eddie Leach (Guyla Richardson).
She is survived by: her children, Lecky Wood Powell, II (Helen), Thomas Powell (Karen) of Harrodsburg, Billy Lynn Powell, Buford Powell of Junction City, Joe Powell (Billie) of Junction City, Pauline Leach of Junction City, Janice Powell of Junction City and Sharon Coffman (Donnie) of Junction City; and her siblings, Sammy Riley (Mary) of Springfield, Maydell Whitehouse of Louisville and Christine Sapp of Louisville. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 45 great grandchildren.
