It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jesse W. Mitchell of Junction City, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Ada Warren Mitchell and Frank R. "Malcolm" Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Jane Mitchell Griffith, Edwin C. Mitchell, Linda Gail Mitchell Deskins and Larry Keland Mitchell; his wife Sandra Lovett; his daughter Tabatha Jo; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Mitchell Osborne, Karen Mitchell Wright, Deanna Mitchell, Cindy Griffith, Norman Griffith, Phillip Deskins, Waylon Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell and Mackienzie Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home - Junction City (506 Shelby St, Junction City, KY 40440). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
Memorial donations are suggested to the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children.
