Mitchell, Linda Gail Mitchell Deskins and Larry Keeland Mitchell; his wife Sandra Lovett; his daughter Tabatha Jo; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Mitchell Osborne, Karen Mitchell Wright, Deanna Mitchell, Cindy Griffith, Norman Griffith, Phillip Deskins, Waylon Boyd, Ryan Mitchell and Mackienzie Mitchell; his stepsons, Todd Strong and David; and his sister-in-law Mary Beth Lovett.
