She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mattingly and Martha Ann Cheser Mattingly; and her siblings, Walter Mattingly, Armond Mattingly, Leroy Mattingly, Robert "Bobby" Mattingly, Earl Mattingly, Billy Joe Mattingly, Harvey Porter Mattingly, Joyce Durr, Margerite Hyde and Mary Wood McElfresh.
She is survived by: her husband Glen Steinberger; her nieces and nephews, Robbie Mattingly, Rhonda Engler, Betty Shelden, Willie Mattingly and David Mattingly; and her cousins, Pam and Gary Phillips.
Memorial donations are suggested to Pleasant Run Baptist Church or Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
