It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Wayne Stratton (Junction City, Kentucky), born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 6, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Isaac Sr. and Ruby Gilpin Stratton; and his siblings, Richard Stratton, Dora Strevels, Sally Burchett and Judy Plummer.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Stratton of Stanford; his children, Chris Stratton (Shawna) of Stanford, Barbara Smith of Stanford and Tammy Toombs (Herb) of Stanford; his siblings, Ruby Baker (Sam) of Parksville, Peggy Lay (Durand) of Mitchellsburg, Kathy Carney (Dale) of Mitchellsburg, Barbara Jewell (Darrell) of Willisburg, Frances Montgomery (Gary) of Mitchellsburg, Pauline Abner (Arvin) of Hustonville, Kenny Stratton of Stanford, Jackie Lamb (Beverly) of Mitchellsburg and Harvey Stratton, III (Roseanne) of Danville; his grandchildren, Kylie Smith, Tristen Smith, Joshua Brown, Dustin Toombs, Hannah Rupard and Dylan Castle; and his great grandchild Lucas Toombs.
