He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simpson and Mae Saylor; and his wife Marie Simpson. He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Caldwell (Danny); his grandchildren, Charlie Caldwell (Adria) and Ree Marksbury (T. J.); his great grandchildren, Colt, Ryan, Wyatt and Aiden; his sister-in-law Ann Johnson (George); his niece Charonna Cotton (Lance); his nephew Johnny Wilson; his brother-in-law Billy Gatliff (Mary Jane); and his significant other Doris Logsdon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
