She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Simpson and Ruby Mae Catlett Simpson; her son Melvin Crowe, Jr.; and her brothers, John, Donnie, Paul, James and David.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Stevens; her sons, Paul Sanders of Frankfort and David Sanders (Kris) of Danville; her stepchildren, Larry Stevens, Jr. of Nicholasville, Wanda Welch of Wilmore and Mary Stevens of Wilmore; her siblings, Louis Simpson of Lawrenceburg, Philip Simpson of Louisville and Bonnie Baker of Mitchellsburg; and her stepgrandsons, Sean and Austin.
