She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harvey and Margaret Loella Wilson Richardson; and her children, Christopher Herring and Guyla Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Tudor Mason; her children, William Nelson Herring, Cassie Herring, Diane Hernandez and Tonya Nester; and her grandchildren, Amber Simpson, Heather Simpson, Savannah Hodge and Matthew Simpson. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
