He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Jinx" Ward and Fannie Jean Williams Edwards; and his brother Charles Davis Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Edwards; his children, Brian Keith Walls (Donna) of Danville, Jeffrey Scott Walls (Stephanie) of Somerset, Kimberly Edwards Downey (Eric) of Danville and Amy Kristen Davis of Danville; his sister Judith Amy Boyd of Danville; his grandchildren, Angelica Maddox (Rodney), Breanna Walls (Jordan), Lindsey Walls, Logan Walls (Alyxsin), Aubrey Walls, Chloe Walls, Kaylee Walls, Jared Downey, Abigail Downey, Nathanael Alan Davis, Johnathan Seth Davis and Chase Lanham; and his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Gage Smith, Wyatt Smith, Viola Walls, Ollee Smith, Brantley Walls and Marlee Walls.
