With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steve Compton of Jonancy, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Compton and Ella Coleman Compton; his wife Deborah Varney Compton; and his siblings, John Compton Jr., James Compton, Bryan Compton, Johnny Compton, Anna Moore and Virginia Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Mikie Compton of Virgie and Stephenie Mullins (Brian) of Georgetown; his siblings, Roger Compton, Eddie Compton, Larry Compton, Tommy Compton, Elizabeth Compton, Margaret Kiser and Susie Johnson; and his grandchildren, Gavon Mullins, Steven Compton II, Deborah Compton and Aubree Frazier.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
