It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Roy Kennon Smith of Jeremiah, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Smith and Ethel Whitaker Smith; his wife Billie Jean Pridemore; and his daughter Christi Smith. He is survived by: his son Roy Kenon Smith of Lexington, KY; his sisters, Mary Jo Blair of Jeremiah, KY and Anna Lou Blair of Lexington, KY.; his grandchildren, Alex and Zac; and his siblings, James Richmond, John Welch, William Douglas, Tommy Harris Smith and Lillie Moss Hale. He is also survived by Four great grandchildren along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
