With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Truman Halcomb of Jeremiah, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Truman left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Halcomb and Stella Griffie Halcomb; his son-in-law Larry Caudill; his daughter Teresa Sharon Halcomb; and his brother Dudley Halcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Sue Hylton Halcomb; his daughters, Patricia Karen Caudill of Jeremiah and Missy Cornett (Mickey) of Isom; his grandchildren, Dylan Caudill (Sydney) and Haydon Caudill (Hannah Craft); and his caregiver Shelia Swisher.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church (4619 Highway 1103 Hallie, KY 41821).
In lieu of flowers due to excellent care that was provided to Truman, donations are suggested to the Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
