He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben H. Blair and Bessie Watts Blair; and his siblings, Everett, Estill, Astor, Willis, Lexter, Beulah Barrier and Nancy Carol Craft.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Dixon Blair; his sons, Darrel Blair of Little Colley and Robert Dale Blair of Elk Creek; his siblings, Winford "Bean Eye" Blair of Jeremiah and Mary Helen Blair of Whitesburg; and his grandson Nicholas Blair of Campfork.
