He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Elswick and Lizzie Craft Elswick; and his grandson Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Sammy Elswick (Shellie) of Kimberly Alabama, Michael Elswick (Amber) of Jenkins and Ashley Gibbs (Josh) of Jenkins; his siblings, Tommy Elswick of Kona, Danny Elswick of Gray Tennessee, Eddie Elswick of Kona, Freddie Craft of Kona and Linda Bartley of Ashcamp; his grandchildren, Reanna Peacock (Owen), Makayla Cummings (Ethen), Mackenzie, Hannah, Kinzleigh, Emilia, Greyson and Levi; and his great grandchild Daxton.
