It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lear Scott (Jenkins, Kentucky), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitch Scott and Bertha Elizabeth Mullins Scott; and his siblings, Geraldine Addington, Pauline Newsome and Carlos Scott.
He is survived by: his brothers, Tommy Scott (Mabelene) of Caney and Winfield Scott (Sheila) of Beefhide. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrims Rest Old Regular Baptist Church (1545 Beefhide Crk Rd, Jenkins, KY 41537).
