She was predeceased by: her father Delano Mullins; her husband Johnny Hopson; and her son-in-law Bobby Akers. She is survived by: her children, Johnny D. Hopson (Veronica), Toni Horton (John), Virginia Ray (Dean) and Tina Akers; and her nieces, Judy DeAnn Adkins, Angie Rutherford (James) and Roni Long (James). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
