He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Sue Baldridge McCoy; his children, James Michael McCoy of Lick Creek, Johnny Richard McCoy of Jenkins, Trisina Honaker of Robinson Creek and Elaina McCoy (Dawson Kelly) of Jenkins; and his grandchildren, James McCoy Jr., Valerie McCoy, Melina Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor, Jonah Taylor and Blakely Kelly.
