He is survived by: his children, Russell Whitaker Jr. of Canada, Brian Whitaker (Candace) of Payne Gap, John Whitaker (Yvette) of Payne Gap and Laquita Quillen of Payne Gap; his grandchildren, Zachary Whitaker, Kaitlynn Whitaker, Cameron Whitaker (Kallie), Amanda Johnson (Damian), Megan Tucker, Tiffany Coleman (Jeremy), Russell "Hank" Whitaker III (Emily), Madison Whitaker, Christie McKinsey (Randy) and Tammy Young (Robb); and his great grandchildren, Aubrie Young, Hudson Young, Austin Johnson, Delaney Johnson, Aubrie Johnson, Nina Tucker, Alexis Coleman, Arya Coleman and Mara Kate Whitaker.
