He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Garlin Bentley and Aggie Hall Bentley; his wife Brenda Gail Baker Bentley; his grandson Henry "Axel" Bentley; and his siblings, Charles, Claude, Jesse, Junior, Douglas, Geneva Sizemore and Barbara June.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kole Bentley, Klint Bentley and Kayla Jackson; his great grandchildren, Luke, Laikyn, Madison, Raelynn, Jayden and Braxton; and his sister Ann Baker of Dryden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church (848 State Hwy 803, Millstone, KY 41838).
