With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freddie Allen Oakes of Jenkins, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Oakes and Georgia Ball Oakes; his son Freddie Allen Oakes Jr. "Buzz"; and his siblings, Jimmy Oakes and Barbara Lucas.

He is survived by: his daughter Jerri Michelle Oakes Caldwell (Bud); his sister Doris Hensley; and his sons, James Justice, Greg Damron and Larry Estep. He is also survived by grandsons, and two honorary great grandchildren.
