She was predeceased by: her parents, William Finley Smith and Ruby Smith (Miller); her daughter Linda Fisher; and her sisters, Stella Smith, Viola Eades and Sylvia Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Martin of Jeffersonville; her sons, Gary Martin (Debbie) of Corbin, Donald Martin (Evelyn) of Turkey Creek and Steve Martin (Lillie) of Jeffersonville; her siblings, Harold Smith of Michigan, Wayne Smith (Louise) of Tennessee, Finley Smith (Charlotte) of Flat Lick, Ludenia Mills (Danny) of Flat Lick, Geraldine Mills (Gary) of Flat Lick, Pearl Gambrel (Everett) of Flat Lick and Karen Williamson (Larry) of Barbourville; and her grandchildren, Breanna Jackson (Steven) of Barbourville, Ashley Sammons (Chad) of Barbourville, Acey Martin of Barbourville, Josh Bloomingburg of Corbin, Chris Bargo of Mt. Sterling, Daniel Bargo (Kasey) of Corbin, Justin Martin of Indiana, Stephanie Davis of Indiana, Jason Martin of Mt. Sterling, Cody Martin of Mt. Sterling, Trevor Martin of Mt. Sterling, Thomas Johnson (Amy Owensville) of Montgomery County, Tyrone Johnson, Jr. of Montgomery County, Steven Johnson of Montgomery County, Zachary Johnson (Andrea) of Jeffersonville, Geneva Johnson of Scalf and Dean Crawford, Jr. of Scalf. She is also survived by thirty-one great-grandchildren along with a host of many other relatives and friends.
