He was predeceased by: his brothers, Oscar George and Earl George. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vance George; his children, Paula Rose of Mt. Sterling, Kimberly Reed of Mt. Sterling, Lori Barnes of Jeffersonville, Karla Spencer of Mt. Sterling, Sarah Raper of Jeffersonville and Brett Parkhurst of Mt. Sterling; and his siblings, Edith Wells of Franklin Ohio, Glen George of Mt. Sterling, Chester George of Orlando and Morris George of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hope First Church of God (Fortune Cemetery) (10272 Hope Means Rd, Hope, KY 40334). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hope First Church of God (10272 Hope Means Rd, Hope, KY 40334).
