It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Velven Floyd of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, born in Martin, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Floyd and Rose Anderson Floyd; and his siblings, Ricky Floyd, Mary Colson and Cindy Blackburn.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Adams Floyd; his children, Johnny Floyd (Julie) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Tina Renee Osborne (John) of Jeffersonville, Rose Floyd of Jeffersonville, Tammy Lynn Hall (Ruben) of Hi Hat and Tonda Sue Short (Owen) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; and his brothers, George Floyd (Sandy) of Waynesburg and Glen Floyd (Judy) of Martin, Kentucky. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren.
