He was predeceased by: his children, Ricky Bowman and Debbie Bowman; and his brother-in-law Raymond Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Birdie Mae Bowman of Jeffersonville; his sons, Jim Bowman (Beverly) of Mt. Washington and Jay Bowman (Sandy) of Fern Creek; his sister Hazel Bowman Sweeney of Lexington; and his stepchildren, David Trosper (Tammy) of Jeffersonville and Diana Sadler of Harrodsburg. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.
