He was predeceased by: his sister Tonya Shanks. He is survived by: his parents, James Shanks and Mary Shanks; his wife Wanda Shanks; his daughters, Katlin Hatfield and Mary Hatfield; and his siblings, Scott Shanks, Matthew Shanks, Chris Shanks, Bo Shanks, Randal Shanks and Emily Shanks.
