He is survived by: his wife Freida Campbell Montgomery; his daughters, Tracy O'Hair (Michael) and Regina Hiddink (Cliff); his grandchildren, Tabetha O'Hair and Sarah O'Hair; and his siblings, Oakley Montgomery (Anna Marie), Carl Montgomery (Ann), Billy Joe Montgomery (Gaye), Imma Willoughby (Robert), Brenda Parker (Danny) and Ruby Lewelling. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
