He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndsay William and Marie Davis Sponcil; and his siblings, Bud Sponcil, Lyndsay William Sponcil, Jr., John Thomas Sponcil, Willa Maxine Ricketts, Virginia Maywood Sponcil and Mabel Louise Sponcil.
He is survived by: his significant other Maxine O'Hair of Clay City, KY; his children, Bobby Sponcil of Jeffersonville, KY and Lida Collins (Randy) of Berea, KY; his siblings, F. M. Sponcil (Patsy) of Camargo, KY, Margaret Marie Dalton (James) of Xenia, OH, Lida Clay Agee of Camargo, KY and Thelma Jean Daniel of Camargo, KY; his grandchildren, Peyton Sponcil, Courtney Spangler and Mackenzie Sponcil; his great grandchildren, Conner Tubbs and Lucas Tubbs; and his pet Trump.
