He was predeceased by: his brothers, Leon Simpson (Betty), Chordie Mitchell, Jr. (Thelma), George Mitchell Simpson (Nancy), Vernon Andrew Simpson and Ray Simpson (Mary).
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank C. Simpson, Jr. (Barbara), Corrine Armstrong (George) and Earl Thomas Simpson, Sr. (Lisa); his daughter Jackie Toogood; and also, Cynthia Sr. and Cecil D. Kinnard, Sr.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.
