She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Haywood and Annabelle Haywood; her husband Eugene Carney; her sons, Gregory A. and Jeffrey A. Nichols; her stepchildren, Dwight Carney and Connie Irwin; and her sister Doris L. LaRoe.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kathy Nichols; her grandchildren, Valerie Haddle (Matthew) and Brandon Miller; and her great grandchildren, Paige and Brady Haddle.
