He is survived by: his wife Linda Matherly Ruckriegel; his daughter Dana DeYoung; his son-in-law Dr. Eric DeYoung; his granddaughter Bella DeYoung; and his siblings, Charles Ruckriegel (Beverly), Liz Berger, Alice Hortenberry, Millie Boss and Dorothy Walker.
