James Robert Kurtzweil Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2023, at the age of 76, James Robert Kurtzweil (Jeffersontown, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Kurtzweil and Dorothy J. Kurtzweil. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Kurtzweil; his sons, James M. (Beth) and Jeff (Leanne); his grandsons, James M. II, Luke, John, Theodore, Ford and Jack; and his siblings, Jeff (Donna), Jonathan, Mary Beth (Gene), Jay (Barb), Richard (Lisa), Michael (Barb) and Joseph (Sue). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society, as this would honor his memory.
