He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Boyd Bishop, Jr. and Evelyn Beatrice Post; and his siblings, Elaine Fahselt and Elwyn Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his sons, Edward "Ted" Alan Jr., Jeffrey Boyd, Gregory William (Young Mi) and Nathan Douglas (Misha); his siblings-in-law, Billie Phillips (Virgil), Phyllis Drury, Jeanine Ashley, Herbert (Betsy) and Taylor Jarboe; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Blake, Lauren, Maxwell, Audrey and Axl Bishop.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (10600 Taylorsville Rd, Jeffersontown, KY 40299). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
