He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gittings and Gail Gittings; and his siblings, Kenneth Joseph Gittings and Deborah Gittings Kavanaugh. He is survived by: his siblings, Abbie Gittings Oesterritter, Gregory Edward Gittings and Jeffrey Louis Gittings; and his former wife Sheryl Gittings. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown (9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
