He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Strosnider; and his grandson Dan Strosnider. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Sanders (Jim) and Jack Strosnider, Jr. (Lynn); and his grandsons, Ted (Megan), Don Sanders (Sara) and Mike Strosnider (Carol).
