He is survived by: his son Christian Dykes (Pearl) of Columbia; his mother Helen Brooks (James) of Lexington; his sisters, Rhonda Rainbolt (Randy) of Clearwater and Heather McQueary (Matt) of Lexington; his granddaughter Ella Dykes of Columbia; his nephew Caleb McQueary of Lexington; his nieces, Lindsay Decker (Matt) of Washington, D. C. and Bethany Stapp of Clearwater, Florida; and his great-nephew Brooks Decker of Washington, D. C.
