He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Coe (Bradshaw) and Frank Coe. He is survived by: his son Billy Shad Smith (Melody) of Columbia, KY; his brother Frank W. Petie Coe (Cheryl) of Jamestown, KY.; and his granddaughters, Shelby and Sophia Smith.
