He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Johnson (Guffey) and Martin Johnson; his wife Christine; his daughter Debbie Hall; and his sisters, Margie Antle and Lola Antle.

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Bradfield of Columbia, KY, Tracey Johnson of Jamestown and Thomas (Vicki Johnson) of Albany; and his sisters, Oda Starnes of Jamestown and Nina Mae Stearns of Albany. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
