He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Padgett; his wife Sharon Franklin Padgett; and his sister Anita Parker. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Roberts Padgett of Columbia Two; and his children, Ricky Franklin of Columbia, Derek Padgett of Columbia, Ashley Franklin of Columbia, Brittany Franklin of Columbia, Leslie Dial of Columbia, Tasha Padgett of Columbia and Tiffany Franklin of Russell Springs.
