He was predeceased by: his parent Barkley R. Ballenger; his wife Betty Ballenger; and his stepsons, Mark and Paul Montgomery. He is survived by: his mother Mary L. McQueary Ballenger of Jamestown, KY; and his children, Heather Ross, Felicia Simon, Lisa Burchett and Mitchell Ballenger, II (Breanna). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
