She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloid Meeks and Alice Roberts Meeks; her husband Elmer Bernard; and her siblings, Opal Roy (Elsie) of Windsor, Gladys Emerson (Elbert) of Windsor, Beatrice Meeks, Delmer Meeks (Kathleen) of Dunnville and Chester Meeks (Lucy) of Indiana.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Bernard Barnes (B. B.) of Jamestown and Lisa Emerson Day (Jim) of Somerset; her granddaughter Jalena Barnes Bryant (Garrett) of Jamestown; her great grandchild Jacklyn Rae Bryant; and her brother Argle Meeks (Phyllis) of Russell Springs.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas Ridge Church or to the Thomas Ridge Church Cemetery Fund..
