She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clarkson and Hazel Lillian Sanders Clarkson; her husband Weldon Pettey; and her siblings, Victor Clarkson, Curtis Clarkson and Viola Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, James Pettey (Michelle) of Jamestown, Reg Pettey of Jamestown and Audra Roberts of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Shelbie Landis (Coty) of Columbia and Andrea Esau (Matt) of Russell Springs; her great grandchildren, Eli Landis, Reed Landis and Brynn Esau; and her sisters, Neleta Clarkson of Jamestown and Nelda Walker of Montana.
